Resolutions Schmezolutions
Being of mixed cultural descent has its advantages and its disadvantages.
One advantage is that you get to celebrate like a million different holidays and also have a valid reason to ask for a gazillion days off.
And of course you get to party extra.....partying a lot never hurt anyone....
But, one disadvantage, at least in my case, is that I celebrate 2 new years.
One is the one most people celebrate, 31st December, and the other one is the Iranian one, which is on the 21st of March.
And what does that mean?
Yes, people, the big 'R' word. Resolutions.
The word that is not that welcome to me anymore.
Simply because I can never realize any of my resolutions.
Not cause I don't want to, but cause they all seem to be too hard to attain.
Here are some examples of past resolutions:
1. Try to wake up on time, so don't have to rush to work with that "I just woke up" face
2. Try*** to spend less money on shoes
3. Try to spend less money on clothes
4. Try to be less tired and more energetic
5. Try to spend less money on shoes
6. Try to spend less money on shoes
7. Eat out less and cook more
8. Actually EAT LESS
9. More exercise - and that does NOT include going to the corner supermarket to get some milk, or calling for home delivery
10.Try not to get angry while driving (very hard in Dubai)
11-20. Try to spend less money on shoes
As for the first point, I am still trying to figure out why my alarm never ever works.
As for most points above, Dubai is shopping heaven.
So you do the math.
As for point 9, driving around in a car day in day out does not burn more than 2.4 calories a month. Therefore, I have to find something that actually constitutes some kind of energetic movement.
Point 10 is virtually impossible to fulfill.
Anyone else who feels the way I do?
*** note the choice of word 'try' as I really do not want to commit to completely spending less money on shoes

hi! i just came across your blog through mrs. t's blog. since you mentioned that you live in dubai, i was wondering if LV is cheaper there? and do you have a lot of designer stores? a friend of mine will be going there over the summer and i was hoping to ask her if she could buy my bag there for me. :) hope you can help me out! thanks!
LOL
I know I am commenting something that has nothing to do with what I wrote, but to answer your Q anonymous, yes you have a HUGE choice of fake bags in Dubai. Not all of them are good fakes though and recently they are cracking down heavily on the fake bag trade as they say it's linked to drug barons and terrorist organisations.
I cant believe that Mr Anonymous asked that Question
and i cant also beleive that Cam.el.Chat ANSWERED IT ...
Well i think the article or blog whatever you want to call is amazing and true .
its not shocking to see people taking advantage of Conflict by Creating sometimes ..
Peace the Eybo is OUT
